As an experienced Music Director, Conductor and Arranger in the Regional Circuit, Alexander LaPlante brings Insight, Joy and a sharp youthful eye to performance and production teams alike.
Former BTP alumni, Alex went on to Emerson College where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Credits in Music Direction include, Stardust, First Date, American Idiot, A Class Act, Sweeney Todd, Descendants, and the Regional Premiere of the Drewe and Stiles Wind in the Willows. Most recently he Regionally Premiered Ride the Cyclone at Theatre South and is currently working on The Lightning Thief at the Orlsndo Family Stage.
Alex is ecstatic to be returning to the place that gave him the confidence and ability to peruse a life and career in the arts and cannot wait to share the experience with the next generation of artist.
