Master Class Artist
 | Gary Kline has served as Assistant Head of Musical Theater as well as Voice Teacher at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh since 1989. Gary has trained literally dozens of Vocal Students who have appeared in Leading Roles on Broadway and National Tours. A Cabaret and Musical Performer, Gary has also worked as Symphony Soloist with Marvin Hamlisch, and performed dozens of roles, first in Opera and then Musical Theater. He has also Directed Play Readings in NYC at Primary Stages and the Ensemble Studio, as well as many Musicals such as Carousel, Elegies, The World Goes Round, and Jacques Brel for the Duplex Cabaret Theater in NYC. His CD “Lucky” includes duets with CMU alum Patrick Wilson and Billy Porter, as well as Song Legend Margaret Whiting. In addition to CMU, Gary has taught Singing Voice for Perry-Mansfield School in Colorado and the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney Australia.
