Founder, Music Director

| Mary Walkley has vocal studios in Miami, Tampa, Palm Harbor, Fort
Myers, Orlando, Atlanta and New York City. She travels the world doing
workshops and lessons for professionals, amateurs and for other vocal
educators.
Mary founded the Speech Level Singing Institute, a Los
Angeles based training program in speech level singing and is a
founding member of the Florida Institute for Vocal Health. She is also
a vocal consultant for Busch Gardens Entertainment, where she regularly
holds workshops. Mary's Pop, Latin & R&B students have signed
and recorded with such labels as Electra, Sony, Sony Discus and
Universal. Many of Mary's students have performed on Broadway and in
National Tours of musicals, including The Lion King, Dance of the
Vampires, Fosse, Chicago, Oklahoma, The Full Monty, The Music Man,
Hair, Smokey Joe's Café, West Side Story and Saturday Night Fever.
Mary's students have also gained admittance to renowned music and
musical theatre programs including Carnegie Mellon, NYU's Tisch School
of the Arts, Florida State, Cincinnati Conservatory, Boston
Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, Northwestern University,
Michigan State, Marymount Manhattan, and Juilliard.
Mary received her
Bachelor of Music Performance & Music Theory, from the University
of Tampa. She is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and
Sciences and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. |
