Master Class Artist

| Rob served as music director and conductor of the Tony Award-winning
Encores! series in New York, earning him the Lucille Lortel Award for
Outstanding Special Achievement. The Broadway hit Chicago began at the
Encores! series, as did Wonderful Town.
Mr. Fisher remains supervising
music director of Chicago worldwide and he conducted the Grammy-winning
1997 cast recording released on RCA Victor.
He performed twice at the
White House for President and Mrs. Clinton, has been seen in television
broadcasts of Sweeney Todd, and the Richard Rodgers documentary on PBS,
has conducted and performed as pianist many times at Carnegie Hall
including with the New York Pops, and was the music director for
Garrison Keillor's radio broadcasts.
Recent credits include Two
Gentlemen of Verona in Central Park; the NY premiere of Sondheim's
Saturday Night; Street Scene with the Minnesota Opera; Sweeney Todd
with the San Francisco Symphony, and conducting the LA Philharmonic at
the Hollywood Bowl. |
