Rastio has been dancing since he was 15 yrs old. As a ballroom dancer and coach in Europe, he won many international Latin competitions and coached the Czech national junior team.

Eight years ago, he moved to the USA, where he continues to compete. He currently teaches and choreographs in Sarasota. Rastio worked as a co-choreographer on Frank Wildhorn's workshops of Broadway bound, Havana.
