Gavin Calais

Gavin started performing when he was seven years old in community theatre. It was not until his Junior year in high school, after being able to play Bobby Child in Crazy For You, that he realized that this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He is primarily a tap dancer, but loves executing ballet and jazz, and teaches at a studio. Gavin was last seen in “Panto: Wonderful Wizard” at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston TX, and sang with Kristin Chenoweth in her “Coming Home” Tour. He is heavily involved with Broadway Theatre Project and will be joining the project again next year, helping run all social media platforms. Graphic and web design is something that he enjoys and loves being able to help promote the projects he is involved in via social media. He runs social media platforms for the Musical Theatre program at Sam Houston State University, and the university newspaper where he is also public relations director.
