As a featured performer in both the New York Shakespeare Festival production and the Broadway revival of On the Town, directed by George C. Wolfe, Darren danced The Lonely Town pas de deux and was dance captain. He again played the dual role of featured performer/dance captain in the National and European Tours of the musical Fosse, working directly with Ann Reinking, Debra McWaters and Gwen Verdon.
Darren later performed in London’s West End production of Fosse this time as featured performer and resident director/ choreographer. Darren has staged ballets for Richmond Ballet and Boston Ballet and assisted Ms. Reinking in an original work for the American Ballet Theatre as well as the Broadway production of The Look of Love. His other NY credits include: City Center Encores: House of Flowers, No Strings!, and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. Darren was last seen on Broadway in Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out and returned to London as dance supervisor for the West End production. Darren now resides in Austin, Texas where he is the Education Director for TexARTS and Director for TexARTS Broadway Company. Darren is proud to be part of Texas State Musical Theatre Department.
Darren is also the Principal dancer & Ballet Master for Feld Ballets/NY (known today as Ballet Tech).
