Associate Artistic Director, Artist Liaison, Dance Department, Resident Artist

Cheryl Lee is Associate Artistic Director and faculty member at The Broadway Theatre Project. Choreography credits include many musicals, ballets, operas and concerts in the Tampa Bay Area including the critically acclaimed Cabaret for FreeFall Theatre and West Side Story for St. Petersburg Opera. Nationally, she has worked in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Chicago, and across the US as a choreographer and show director for I Love Dance Competitions. Additional Musical credits: Chicago the Musical, Anything Goes, Singing in the Rain, Sweet Charity, Oklahoma, Crazy for You, The King and I, Fiddler of the Roof, Sound of Music, South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, Oliver, Grease, Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera and 42nd Street. She was awarded ‘Outstanding Choreographer’ by Theatre Tampa Bay and ‘Best Choreographer’ by Broadwayworld.com.

Dedicated to Musical Theatre education, she is the Director of Cultural Enrichment, Arts and Humanities Department – Chair of Performing Arts and faculty member at Shorecrest Preparatory School, St. Petersburg, Florida. She has her Certificate of Arts Administration from New York University, graduated Magna cum Laude from Barat College and attended Oxford University; while abroad she studied with the Paris Opera Ballet. She has been the Chairman of the Ringling International Arts Festival in affiliation with the Baryshnikov Arts Center for two seasons.
